WM Behavioral Health provides a supportive atmosphere for individuals to begin developing a solid foundation for recovery.

Our Modalities

  • Moral Recognition Therapy

It focuses on the development of moral reasoning and an individual's ability to reflect on their choices and values. The goal of MRT is to increase the individual's autonomy and improve their quality of life. Participants of MRT may also experience reduced recidivism rates.

  • Relapse Prevention Groups

In relapse-prevention groups, our behavioral health clinicians help patients to identify potentially difficult feelings and destructive thought patterns and use adaptive mood intervention skills and cognitive restructuring to interrupt the dynamics of the relapse pattern. Patients are also helped to identify high-risk attitudes and behaviors that can undermine their recovery efforts and develop more rational and adaptive ways to manage these.

  • Cognitive Behavior Therapy

One of the most common types of treatment used in alcohol and drug treatment centers is called cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). The Ranch at Dove Tree uses this and other evidence-based therapies because they have been scientifically proven to help people suffering from substance use disorder. CBT is a form of talk therapy in which a person discusses specific concerns with a mental health counselor.

  • Group Therapy

Goals of Group Treatment may include developing self-care and/or life skills, enhancing interpersonal skills, mitigating the symptoms of mental illness, and lessening the results of traumatic experiences, learning from the perspective and experiences of others, and counseling/psychotherapy to establish and/or maintain stability in living, work, or educational environment.

  • Ongoing Peer Support

Each program participant can be matched with a Certified Peer Counselor to help them navigate barriers such as housing and employment.
